22nd of August 2005 - My New Bike

I bought a bike the other day thinking that it would help me get around the campus a lot faster since its massive here. Except i sort of forgotten, well not really forgotten but pushed to the back of my mind that i hadn't ridden a bike or any form of wheeled machine that didnt have 4 wheels for about 10 or 11 years. So heres what i have to say, when people say whatever is like riding a bike, you pick it up straight away even if you havent done it for ages, well they're full of shit because for the last 45min i've looked like a retarded 20 year old who just released from his bubble and learning to ride a bike for the first time. And in the end it didnt let me get to campus faster, it took me twice as long if i'd walked and brought me close to the front end of a bus 3 times. So next time when you hear someone say that riding a bike is easy even if you havent for a long time, kick them in the balls, and kick them hard, and when they fall, kick them again and again and again.
