The tree is finished. it stands and its surface has been sanded smoothly. I await the delivery of my paint so i can begin painting it. Sacrifices were made to keep to the timetable; the number of branches were reduced and the 2-point articulation was dismissed in favor of the simpler and faster 1-point rotational articulation joint. It appears by fears that the base would have to be made in order for the tree to sand were not nessecary, as it stands well on its own devices rather well.
